About the Programme Committee
The Programme Committee plays a vital role in developing the content for UK Kidney Week, the UK’s largest kidney conference. Committee members contribute to:
- Reviewing and selecting session proposals and abstracts
- Shaping plenary and keynote content
- Developing sessions that reflect the needs of all kidney professionals
- Ensuring broad representation across specialties, professions, career stages and communities
Structure & Commitment
- Meetings are mostly virtual, alternating between mornings and lunchtimes, with a face-to-face meeting for Co-Chairs planned for August
- Work is shared across smaller workstreams to keep meetings focussed and manageable.
- Local committee members may contribute to sessions with regional relevance.
- Support is provided throughout by the UKKA events team.
