Improving the accessibility and inclusivity of UK Kidney Week for all professionals involved in caring for kidney patients is an ongoing priority. Special offers for the multi-professional team have been introduced, with two nights of accommodation built into the costs, allowing access to the full three-day event (£300 if you are a UKKA member). This offer is exclusively for nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, dietitians, social workers, technicians, scientists and early career researchers.
On top of the competitive conference rates, the UK Kidney Association is also offering grants, supported by GSK PLC, to cover the cost of UKKW registration for members of the multi-professional team, renal trainees and scientists.
There will be a range of sessions for the multi-professional team, including multicultural diets, mental health and kidney disease, peer support and having difficult conversations with patients.
