UKKW grants

The UK Kidney Association (UKKA) has awarded more than 30 delegate grants, worth over £10,000, to support UKKA members to attend UK Kidney Week 2026.

Funded directly by the UKKA, these grants form part of the Association’s ongoing commitment to supporting professional development, research engagement and participation across the kidney workforce. They ensure that early-career professionals are able to access the UK’s leading multi-professional kidney conference.

The 35 grants cover registration costs for UK Kidney Week 2026 and have been awarded to members from a range of professional backgrounds, including early-career healthcare professionals, trainees and members of the multi-professional team with accepted abstracts.

Supporting participation at UK Kidney Week 2026

UK Kidney Week provides opportunities to present work, build research and professional skills, and engage with colleagues from across adult and paediatric kidney services. Delegate grants help ensure that members at different career stages are able to take part and contribute to the programme.

These grants are funded directly by the UKKA, reflecting a reinvestment in its membership and a commitment to maintaining a conference that represents the full multi-professional kidney community. Grant recipients span a range of roles and disciplines, supporting a programme shaped by diverse experience and perspectives.

UK Kidney Week 2026

UK Kidney Week 2026 will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers and system leaders from across the UK to share learning, present new research and explore developments in kidney care.
